Center for the Conservation and Eco-Development of Samaná Bay and its Surroundings CEBSE, Center for the Conservation and Eco-Development of Samaná Bay and its Surroundings CEBSE is a Dominican non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 1992, is actively engaged in the conservation and sustainable development of the region and has established an ecotourism program. This program operates at different levels: naturalist guide training, community education, working together with and advising the local and national tourism industry, government organizations and development agencies.

Border Health Mission (BHM), The Foundation “Health for All” (FUNTOSALUD) is pleased to present the Border Health Mission (BHM)'s first delegation to the Dominican Republic. Established by local concerned health professionals in 1990 and registered with the Executive Order under the Executive Power of the Dominican Republic government, FUNTOSALUD (from its Spanish acronyms) is a humanitarian non-profit healthcare and aid provider in impoverished communities of the Cibao region, bateyes and the border town of Manzanillo, Montecristi province, in the Dominican Republic.

Fundeprocunipa, Fundeprocunipa was founded in the munipicality of Paraíso, province of Barahona, Dominican Republic the 4th of July, 1995, as a consequence of the high levels of deforestation, the struggle amongst farmers that cultivate the land to sustain their families, and members of the National Board of General Forestry to preserve the natural resources that exist in the region.
